Description
The play “Macbeth” ends with the defeat and death of Macbeth and the restoration of order in Scotland. Macduff kills Macbeth, fulfilling the witches’ prophecy and avenging the murder of his own family.
With Macbeth dead, Malcolm, the rightful heir, is hailed as King of Scotland. Malcolm delivers a speech that promises to restore peace and order to the kingdom. He invites everyone to witness his coronation at Scone and rewards his loyal supporters, marking the end of the tyrannical reign of Macbeth and the beginning of a new era of stability.
